Mexican gold coins. Oldham-Cummings Post #6441 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) was established in 1946 by Wimberley area veterans upon their return from service in World War II. We are part of a federal chartered organization whose purposes are fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable, and educational. Our current membership of over 170 men and women include representatives of all services who are veterans of every conflict since WWII including Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq).
MEMBERSHIP: Membership is open to men and women who have honorably served their country in overseas engagements for which a campaign badge or medal has been authorized by the U. S. Government. See our Membership Page for more information.
LOCATION: The home of VFW Post #6441 is Veteran’s Park, located on Jacobs Well Road (CR182) approximately one half mile southeast of Ranch Road 12. Look for the large sign at the intersection of Jacobs Well Road and Ranch Road 12. Katrina bookman verdict. Veteran’s Park includes the VFW Hall and the Chester Franklin Rodeo Arena.
MEETINGS: The Post and the Auxiliary meet on the first Thursday of each month beginning with an informal dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Prospective members are welcome.
POST ACTIVITIES: VFW Post #6441 supports a variety of community organizations including the 4-H, FFA, the Wimberley Youth Sports Organization, My Neighbor’s Keeper, the Barnabas Connection, and, as well as the Wimberley EMS and Wimberley Volunteer Fire Department. The Post also sponsors Boy Scout Troop 127 and provides space for their Scout Hut on Veteran’s Park. Through the Post’s Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen programs, the Post annually awards scholarships to local students.
*Rosemount VFW Post 9433 located in Rosemount, Minn. Is home to more than 200 Veterans of Foreign Wars, and both Ladies and Mens Auxiliaries. We support veterans and their families, surrounding communities and the youth of today.
*Bingo Every Wednesday Night! Doors open at 4pm – Games start at 6:30pm. Triple load machine and 6 pack of paper – $50.00. All Games Pay $250. 2 Specials. Double Action – $500 Mini Slam – $750. Lightening – Flash Boards. Snack Bar Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs, Nachos, Chips, Drinks & More (Menu subject to change without notice.).

The Post raises money for these programs via three primary means:Vfw Hall Bingo Games
Bingo – the Post hosts Bingo every Friday night beginning at 7 p.m. Bingo is open to the public and is very popular, so come early.
Facility Rentals – the Post rents out the facilities at Veterans Park at reasonable prices to local residents and organizations for meetings, weddings and wedding receptions, parties and the like. VFW Open / Pro Rodeo – The Post annually produces the VFW Open Pro Rodeo over the Fourth of July weekend.
